I obviously need to write this again.:(. A book I would recomend is THE HUNGER GAMES. I have already read the book so I'm pretty sure I know what it is about. THE HUNGER GAMES is about a person named Katniss. She gets hurled int an arena where she must decemate 23 other people. :<.
She changes because in the beginning, she is a person who barely manages to survive on what she has, and then having almost all of the money in the world.
Hey everyone I am reading The Mysterious Benedict Society and one character who really changes is Constance Contraire. She is a whiny, mean bossy, little kid at the beginning of their mission, but at the end of the book, she learns to enjoy life and that she doesn't need to yell at people for nothing, but sadly she doesn't really stop her bad behavior other that that. I really hope she continues to change toward the better because, if she were really existing today, she could turn out to change the world.
A series I would suggest is the Alex Rider series. He has to deal with changing from a normal 14 year old to a secret spy and deal with his uncle who has raised him dying and other things.
I agree with anonymous(Matai) about alex rider but I also think we should read the alchemist series because it's about two 16 year old twins becoming magical.
A book serries i reccomend is the Harry potter serries by J.K Rolling.I know most everyone has read it, but its a really good book and movie serries and its worth reading twice.
Harry goes through change by ,oviously becoming a wizard.
Hey Mrs. Howard and everybody. Mrs. Howard just to let you know I recently checked out The House of the Scorpion and I also picked the scorpion for one of my five top books so I will be willing to check my book back in and read that one if you would like but I will do what ever. Thanks!
Mrs. Howard, I have a really good series called The Winnie Years. I this a very girl related book though. The series starts at the book Ten and goes all the way through Thirteen Plus One. The two best in the series are Twelve and Thirteen Plus One.
A book I would recommend is Eragon! Eragon is about Eragon,(the main character) going through a tough life with his dragon. Eragon changes because he has no idea who his parents are, and goes through lots of tragic deaths. After his dragon hatches, he gets very well known, and finally has enough food. That changes him for life!
I also would recommend The Mysterious Benedict Society, But those books are not exactly personal narratives or memoirs. A book I will recommend is Dark Life by Kat Falls. I have read but would love to read it again. Renee has read it as well. Dark Life involves change because Ty lives underwater and has lived that way since he was born. Soon a girl (Gemma) from the "Topside" somehow appeared in Ty's house and soon everything is chaotic, because outlaws have attacked and Ty and Gemma have to get rid of the outlaws and save many of the people living underwater as well. I highly recommend this book.
I recommend the book the Lost Hero because of the suspense, and the traits that is has to be a great narrative. It has many settings, amazing characters, and it really puts a picture into your head. this is why i recommend the Lost Hero.
